Meet Our Owner & Stylist
Since beginning my natural hair journey in 2019, I’ve been passionate about celebrating and understanding the beauty of textured hair. Long before attending cosmetology school, I refined my skills by styling hair for family and friends, which ignited my desire to turn this passion into a career.
After graduating in Spring 2022, I moved to San Diego to immerse myself in the industry and seek mentorship from inspiring leaders. Two individuals who’ve deeply influenced my journey are Robert Cromeans, founder of A Robert Cromeans Salon and former Global Creative and Business Director for John Paul Mitchell Systems, whose showmanship and creativity embody the passion I aspire to bring to my craft, and Brittaney Danyel, founder of CurlCousin, whose story and expertise resonate with my own path.
Today, I am dedicated to mastering innovative techniques for curly hair while staying at the forefront of industry trends. My mission is to empower my guests to effortlessly achieve their hair goals by providing the guidance and care I once searched for myself.
